Marketing in a small company usually stops on an ordinary Tuesday. The owner meant to post twice a week, then a supplier called, then a guest complained, and the last post on the account is from last month. Nobody decided to stop. The work simply had no one to do it.
Hiring is the obvious answer and the expensive one. A social media manager, a copywriter, a designer and somebody to read the numbers are four different jobs, and a small business rarely has four salaries for them. A marketing team of AI agents is the other answer: the same four jobs done every week, with you keeping the final word on what goes out.
What a marketing team of AI agents is
An AI agent is not a scheduler with a tidy calendar. A scheduler publishes what you have already written, which means the writing is still yours. An agent does the part you keep postponing: it knows your services and your tone, prepares the content plan, writes the post, prepares the picture, answers the question that appears under it, and at the end of the week tells you what worked and what did not.
The word team matters here as much as the word agent. One general assistant told to «do our marketing» gives back something shapeless, because the request has no edges. Separate roles, each with its own narrow job and its own rules, give back work you can actually check. We wrote about that difference in a team of agents against a single assistant.
The five roles that do the work
The SVI marketing team is a ready solution assembled from five roles:
- Social media. Keeps the content plan, writes posts and stories, replies in Direct and in comments, so a question under a post does not hang for a day.
- Company copy. Writes the longer texts: promotions, ad copy, newsletters, the page describing a new service.
- Designer. Prepares the visuals for posts and promotions in your colours, with your logo, in one recognisable style.
- Marketing analyst. Looks at what the week produced: which posts were read, where the enquiries came from, what to repeat and what to drop.
- Reviews and reputation. Answers reviews, including the unhappy ones, politely and while they are still fresh.
Each role runs on the model that is strongest for its kind of task: one for writing, another for analysis, another for images. SVI keeps 89 of the best AI models available for this, so the copy and the numbers are not produced by the same mind.
Who decides what goes out
This is the first question every owner asks, and it is the right one. An account is a company's face, and nothing should appear on it by surprise.
In test mode the agents prepare the plan, the posts and the replies, and publish nothing at all. After launch, publishing follows your rule: either every post waits for your yes, or the agents post by the plan you have already approved. Prices, promotions and promises come only from your data, never from a guess. If you want the rule changed, you say so in one sentence and it changes.
How the agents pick up your brand voice
Generic text is the real weakness of AI content, and it comes from giving the agents nothing to work with. So the setup starts with what you already have: your best posts, your logo, your colours, the way you speak to customers. From that a guide is built, and every role writes and designs by it.
Then you compare. In test mode you read what the agents produced next to what you would have written yourself, and you correct the guide in plain words: warmer, shorter, no exclamation marks, always mention the terrace. The voice is tuned before a single customer sees it.
Direct, comments and reviews are the other half
Marketing is not only publishing. Most of the value sits in what happens after a post: someone asks the price in Direct, someone leaves a question in comments, someone writes a review at midnight. Answered within minutes, these turn into customers. Answered in two days, they turn into nothing.
The agents work in the channels where people already write to you:
- Instagram Direct and comments.
- WhatsApp and a Telegram bot or work group.
- Email and your own website.
- Your chat page by link, which works from the first day.
- For restaurants, maps with reviews as well.
Anything that looks like an enquiry stops being a message and becomes a line in SVI CRM, ready to confirm. Requests can also go into the CRM you already use. Guests write in their own language and get an answer in it: the interface and the agents cover seven languages.
What the agents will not do
A marketing agent that invents things is worse than silence, so the limits are part of the product:
- No invented facts. Prices, open slots and conditions come from your data only, and no discount appears that you have not approved.
- No publishing behind your back. Nothing goes out against your rule.
- No mixing customers up. One customer's data never reaches another.
- No pretending. An agent does not claim to be a human and does not deny being an AI assistant.
- No guessing. When unsure, it asks you or hands the conversation to a person with a short summary.
What to measure
Marketing without numbers becomes a matter of taste, and taste is a bad way to decide whether to keep paying. Measure the same things before launch and after: posting regularity, time to reply to reviews and comments, reach and engagement per post, and enquiries coming from social media and ads.
The marketing analyst assembles exactly this once a week, in a form you can read in two minutes. If a format works, you ask for more of it. If it does not, it leaves the plan.
Test it on your own channels before you pay
You do not have to believe any of the above. Every SVI team starts the same three steps:
- Install. The solution is added to your account and your channels are connected. This step is on us.
- Test mode. The agents answer your real incoming messages and prepare real posts, but nothing reaches your audience. You see every reply and every draft, and you get a report. This step is on us too.
- Launch. When the work looks like yours, you switch it on. Payment starts only here.
If your marketing is unusual, the roles can be rearranged in the agent builder, where Mai assembles a team from 19 roles with ready rules, plus any role of your own that you describe in words.
How to start
Look at the ready solutions to see how the marketing team sits next to the others, open the marketing team page for the roles, the channels and the current price, or simply begin with a conversation with Mai: describe your business and what you wish went out every week, and she will set the team up and start the test mode with you.
